BASIC BIRD CARE

THE ONLINE CLASSES ARE FREE. CLASSES HELD AT THE SANCTUARY OR IN OCEANSIDE ARE A MINIMUM $10 DONATION
After taking the 4 classes you can request to take the test. Please click here to request the test.
If you wish to take the in person class then you will need to donate a minimum of $10 and let us know in the donation note that you are taking the class. We bring birds who have their schedule broken and give our time to help you with your winged companions so please donate generously. THE CLASS IS HELD WHEN WE GET AT LEAST 5 PEOPLE SIGNED UP. It will be held at Mission Animal & Bird Hospital, 655 Benet Road, Oceanside, if the class is large. If it is 5 or less then it will be held at the sanctuary. The class is from 7 pm to 9 pm. The first part of the class covers basic bird care and the remainder of the class is working with birds. You must be signed up to attend.
If a class is cancelled then you may use your voucher for one of the next two classes held. If you miss the class then the donation is not refunded. All donations are nonrefundable and tax deductable. A minimum of five people must be signed up for the class 3 days before it is held in order for us to hold the class.
